GET INVOLVED!

As a small charity, we rely on donations and fundraise with various events throughout the year.  Therefore if you would like to fundraise for us or know anyone looking for a charity to support, please think of us!

Donations, contributions and raising awareness are all greatly received.

We would like to thank everyone who has raised funds & awareness for the Gary Woodward Dyskeratosis Congenita Trust!

 

Here are some examples of what our amazing volunteers have been up to, to raise funds:

  • Street collections (in fancy dress!) in Bedford & Stevenage

  • Held Spring/ Summer balls

  • Tombola/ cake stalls at Bedford Victorian Fayres & International Kite Festival

  • Dress down days in workplaces.

  • School charity days.

  • Thames Estuary 30 mile challenge.

We would also like to thank kind companies who have donated goods and services to us.  In addition to this, we would like to thank our kind volunteers wh have given up their time to help up!

PREVIOUS FUNDRAISING HAS PROVIDED:

  • Information booklets for individuals, Carers and Health Care Professionals.

  • Funding a telephone helpline.

  • Information booklets sent to Medical Professionals to raise awareness of the condition.

  • Family Support Days.

  • Contributions for Research into testing and diagnosis for Dyskeratosis Congenita.
